REGISTRATION OF PERSONS REGULATIONS - REGULATION 13A

Furnishing false particulars of loss etc. of identity card

Any person who makes any statement or declaration or furnishes any particulars
or evidence to a registration officer alleging that an identity card has been
lost, destroyed, damaged or defaced knowing that such statement, declaration
or particulars or evidence is false in any material particular commits an
offence and is liable to a fine at level 5 and to imprisonment for 2 years.
